Before starting BlackByrd Partners, Erin served in management roles with national and international talent services firms. Erin spent several years as the Practice Manager for a global legal talent services company, where she managed the organization’s Charlotte office and served as interim manager for the e-Discovery division in London. In these roles, Erin oversaw ten million-dollar-plus practices focused on direct placement and project-based managed review services for law firms and corporate clients. Erin has also managed recruitment and development for a global Am Law 100 firm, where she oversaw associate and partner hiring, associate mentoring and development, diversity initiatives, change management processes, budgeting and the attorney review process.
Erin is an active participant with NALP. She has been a member of NALP's New Career Models Task Force (NCMTF) and was an integral member of the team that drafted the first "NCMTF Resource Guide". She has also presented on topics such as social media strategies for lateral hiring.
Erin received her bachelor’s degree in Communications Design from La Roche College, is a Certified Human Behavioral Consultant and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
